My mom got me Japanese in Mangaland for Christmas! I flipped through them a bit and they look pretty awesome, but I haven't actually had the chance to do anything in them yet.
Its been so long for me that I had to spend awhile reacquainting myself with the hiragana/katakana, but I think I'm finally ready to start moving into the kanji. Yikes. My problem in school was always that I never got much practice actually speaking the language, but I was pretty good at reading/writing it, so I bought an inexpensive cd learner-thing that will hopefully help with that. And maybe when I feel more confident, we can have phone conversations in Japanese!
I think the most exciting thing is that I figured out how to type in Japanese on my computer. lol. おはよございます！
